1-alarm house fire contained in SF’s West Portal neighborhood

The San Francisco Fire Department contained a house fire Sunday afternoon. 

There were no injuries and officials said it is unknown how many were displaced. 

According to the fire department, the 1-alarm fire was caused by either an oven or stove. The incident happened in the West Portal neighborhood at 279 Vicente Street. 

At 4:03 p.m., they tweeted that the fire was contained.
