One woman died, and another is in critical condition after a double shooting in San Francisco late Sunday night.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers from the Bayview Station received reports of a shooting at around 10:45 p.m. Police responded to the 1000 block of Oakdale Avenue, where they found two women suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers performed aid before the victims were taken to the hospital. One woman was pronounced dead, while the other was with life-threatening injuries.
The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
