1 dead, 2 in critical condition after three more shootings in Oakland Saturday night

After three shooting incidents across Oakland on Friday night, three more shootings happened on Saturday night. 

According to the Oakland Police Department, the first shooting occurred near the 8500 block of International Boulevard before midnight. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation and found a victim with at least one gunshot wound. 

Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. The victim is listed in critical condition. 

The second shooting was on early Sunday on the 700 block of Webster Street around 1:15 a.m. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation and found a victim with a gunshot wound. The victim is taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in critical condition. 

Around 1:30 a.m., a third shooting was reported on Edwards Avenue off-ramp on the eastbound side of Interstate 580. Officers were dispatched after a call reporting an assault off-ramp. Emergency personnel arrived and found a single victim. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  

The OPD Felony Assault Unit is currently investigating these shootings.
