A bicyclist was killed on Sunday after a collision.
According to the Hayward Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. near Tennyson Road, east of the I-880 offramp.
The bicyclist was identified as a 29-year-old Hayward man. He died at the scene from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is a 27-year-old man. He stayed on the scene and is cooperative with the investigation. Police rule out alcohol as a factor in the crash.
Hayward police said they will continue investigating and releasing more information as it becomes available.
