1 injured, 1 detained in shooting near SF’s Westfield Mall

One person is injured after a Thursday evening shooting at a business near the Westfield Mall. 

According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Market Street, where they called the medics to take the victim to the hospital. 

At this time, the victim’s condition is unknown. SFPD has also detained a person possibly involved in the shooting. 

No other information was immediately available. Anyone with information is asked to contact SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and start the message with “SFPD.”
