1 injured in Levi’s Stadium soccer game stabbing

A victim is in the hospital after being stabbed at a Gold Cup soccer game at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday. 

According to Santa Clara Police Department, officers were called to the stadium at 8:47 p.m. on Sunday due to a report of a stabbing near the seating area. 

SCPD said the victim was stabbed with a knife near the collarbone. 

Police identified a suspect and a person of interest in the case. 

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 25-35 years old with short, dark hair, a thin mustache, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a green Mexican National Team soccer jersey. 

The person of interest is a Hispanic woman with dark hair and a similar Mexican jersey.
