A victim with a gunshot wound showed up at Highland Hospital in Oakland Wednesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Interstate-980 at 18th Street, with the victim sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The hospital notified CHP of the shooting at 3:15 p.m.
