Authorities are investigating a shooting on Saturday night that left one person injured.
According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. on the 2700 block of Hutchinson Court.
Police say this was an attempted homicide, with the suspect still on the run. One shooting victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the John Muir Hospital.
Police have yet to describe the suspect. No other information was released about the victim.
Walnut Creek police claim that this is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community.
