1 killed, another injured in Sunnyvale house party shooting

The Sunnyvale Police Department confirmed a shooting incident during a huge house party on Saturday night, which injured and killed one.

A music disturbance report was first lodged, causing the police to respond to the 1400 block of Navarro Drive around 10:19 in the evening.

They came to a party attended by around 150 to 200 people with ages ranging from 16 to 19.

While the police were on the scene, gunshots were heard. They said a couple of adults were seen to have been hit by bullets.

The victims were rushed to a hospital in San Jose. One of them died while the other is set to receive surgery and has a huge chance of survival, police said, as reported by KRON4.
