Orinda police are still searching for a residential burglary suspect. Two other suspects were arrested for the same incident.

Orinda Police officers were dispatched at around 8:23 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a suspicious person on Knickerbocker Lane.

According to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, police found a vehicle associated with the subject in a driveway at a residence on Lloyd Lane.

When officers came to check the vehicle, they found the three suspects exiting the residence with multiple stolen items at hand.

The suspects immediately dropped the items and fled.

One of the suspects was immediately caught and was identified as Dennis Windham, 30, of San Francisco.

He was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on burglary, conspiracy, and resisting arrest charges.

Orinda police, with assistance from Lafayette, Moraga, and Danville police, formed a perimeter and found the second suspect hiding under a shed.

He was “uncooperative,” police said, and has not been identified.

The third suspect remains outstanding.

According to the residents of the home that was burglarized, the suspects entered the home and tried to steal some items but were interrupted by police. A crowbar was found at the scene and is now considered evidence.
