San Francisco authorities said they discovered two children on Sunday after their minivan, which was reportedly stolen after their father went out to deliver food in the city, was found.

During his delivery for DoorDash on Saturday night, Jeffrey Fang was with his four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son, the San Francisco police said.

Missing Children

Around 8:45 p.m., Fang got out of his Honda Odyssey in the Pacific Heights neighborhood to deliver an order. When he returned, he saw a stranger drive off in his van. “I yelled at him and told him to get out, and two of my kids are in the car,” Fang said. After calling the police, authorities quickly began the search for the children.

“Times are hard, if you’re going to have to resort to stealing, that’s a different matter, but please, don’t hurt my kids. Let them return safely back to my wife and me, please,” Fang pleaded to the robber.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m, a Twitter post by the police announced the two missing children and the minivan were found in the city’s Bayview area on Sunday, NBC Bay Area reported.

The children will be medically evaluated and reunited with their parents.” “Suspects are still outstanding,” the police said. No information about the identity of the suspect has been revealed.
