3 injured in a 3-alarm fire in apartment building at SF NoPA

Two firefighters and one other person were injured in a large fire in San Francisco’s NoPa Tuesday afternoon. 

The city’s Fire Department first reported the blaze at 1604 McAllister St. near Divisadero Street at 12:10 p.m. 

According to fire officials, the two firefighters weren’t seriously injured and even stayed at the scene to help put out the 3-alarm fire. The third injured person is also okay. 

Shortly after 2 p.m., the fire had been contained. 

The fire displaced 13 people and affected 2 businesses. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
