Three suspects in a gang-related shooting last summer in San Jose have been arrested.

According to the San Jose Police Department, 18-year-old Adan Villa-Cruz, 23-year-old Osmin Matadamas, and 26-year-old Ivan Quezadas, all San Jose residents, were the primary suspects in a shooting that occurred on August 24 in the 1500 block of Alum Rock Ave.

The shooting victim transported themselves to the hospital and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects fled the scene just before the authorities arrived.

Arrest and search warrants were obtained for the three men.

Matadamas and Quezadas were taken into custody on September 26 in San Jose and Villa-Cruz was arrested two months later on November 29.

SJPD said Villa-Cruz’s home was searched and illegal narcotics for sale and live ammunition were found inside the house.

The three suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Mail Jail for various charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, possession of narcotics for sale, and illegal possession of ammunition.
