49ers K’Waun Williams Caught Using Performance-Enhancing Drugs

1 min read

Injured San Francisco 49ers cornerback K’Waun Williams has been suspended for two games after he was caught using performance-enhancing drugs, violating the league’s policy.

Williams will be eligible to return in two weeks after the 49ers’ game against Buffalo. He had already missed games due to a high ankle sprain.

On Tuesday, the San Francisco Niners said they have opened the injured reserve practice windows for Raheem Mostert, who has been out since Week 6 due to a sprained left ankle; and Jeff Wilson Jr., who was sidelined the week after because of a sprained ankle.

The Niners had recently signed Chris Edwards to a one-year deal. The team also signed Kai Nacua and Shawn Poindexter to the practice squad, the San Francisco Gate reported.
