A man and six teenagers were arrested in connection to a series of commercial business burglaries during a six-month period.

According to the San Jose Police Department, more than two dozen businesses were burglarized, most were found to be “smoke shop” stores.

Surveillance videos show suspects using stolen Kia and Hyundai cars to crash into the businesses’ exteriors to gain entrance to the shops.

The suspects would steal merchandise before fleeing.

SJPD said the suspects are believed to be responsible for additional commercial burglaries outside San Jose.

On Wednesday, the juveniles were arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall after a search warrant for both their persons and residences.

Police seized two firearms and evidence in connection to the burglaries.

Investigation reveals an adult suspect, identified as Vincent Loredo, 45. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for firearm, narcotic, and child endangerment charges, SJPD said.
