Six people were injured after a shooting near Pier 39 Sunday evening.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the shooting first occurred near Beach and Stockton streets, where two vehicles were chasing each other down The Embarcadero.

The gun battle between two shooters ended near Howard Street.

At the scene, SFPF officers found two victims with gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to the hospital, and one was listed with life-threatening injuries.

The second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

At a press conference Sunday night, SFPD Chief Bill Scott ruled the shooting as an “isolated” case.

“The message is clear: you cannot, and will not come to this city and commit these type of acts, and walk away from here and get away with it. We will find you. We will find you and you will go to jail,” Chief Scott said.

As of Monday, no arrests have been made.
