The new iPad Pros are equipped with the M1 chip
Apple’s newest batch of iPad Pro tablets will come with the same Apple-designed M1 chip that can be found in the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.
The 12.9-inch version has an upgraded display that utilizes 10,000 Mini LEDs that Apple calls the Liquid Retina XDR display. The iPad Pros have a new 12-megapixel ultrawide camera that can automatically track you during video calls.
The tablets can be ordered on April 30th and will be available during the second half of May. The 11-inch model starts at $799, and the 12.9-inch at $1,099.
The redesigned iMac has the M1 chip, too
Apple unveiled a completely redesigned iMac that is also equipped with the same M1 chip. It’s unbelievably thin, has a 24-inch screen, a 1080 camera, and is available in seven different colors. It also comes with a new wireless keyboard with Touch ID for authentication.
The new iMac is up in four colors starting at $1,299 and in seven colors and better specs starting at $1,499. It can be ordered starting April 30th and will be available in the second half of May.
Apple reveals AirTag item trackers
Finally, Apple reveals its long-rumored AirTag item trackers, which you can track in the Find My app. Your AirTag can be customized with emoji, too. It can be preordered on Friday for $29 and will be available on April 30th. The four-pack is available for $99.
Apple TV 4K comes with an A12 Bionic chip
Apple reveals the new Apple TV 4K that comes with the same A12 Bionic chip that can be found on the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. It now can play HDR and high frame rate videos. It will start at $178 for 32GB. It is up for preorder on April 30th and is available in the second half of May.
The Apple TV remote, redesigned
We have a new Apple TV remote, made of aluminum and consists of a click pad at the top. Aside from that, you also get a Siri button on the side.
iPhone 12 in a new color
Apple is releasing iPhone 12 and 12 mini in a new purple color. It will be available for preorder on Friday and will launch on April 30th.
