Authorities Arrest 17-Year-Old In Connection To Austin Mass Shooting

Authorities in Killeen on Monday arrested a 17-year-old student at Harker Heights High School in connection with a mass shooting over the weekend that led to the death of a 25-year-old man. 

Jeremiah Roshaun Leland James Tabb was arrested without incident as he attended summer school class. He reportedly had a connection with the shooting in Austin’s Sixth Street that occured Saturday at 1:30 a.m. 

“Killeen ISD will continue to assist law enforcement agencies to bring justice to the tragic events as quickly as possible,” authorities said Monday

The shooting led to the death of 25-year-old Douglas John Kantor, who was set to be married soon. More than a dozen others were also wounded during the shooting.
