Authorities identify victim, person of interest in deadly Marin City shooting

Investigators have identified the victim and the person of interest in the deadly shooting in Marin City.

The tragic incident happened on Cole Drive at around 10:30 a.m on Sunday. 

Officers responded and found a car with multiple bullet holes in the passenger side window and a man and woman suffering from injuries. While being transported to a hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries while the woman has non-life threatening injuries. 

The deceased man has been identified as 42-year-old Michael Rogers II from Oakland

Detectives have also identified a person of interest in the case but additional information has not yet been released.
