The National Weather Service announced that rains are expected on Friday and Saturday.

According to NWS, the first round of rain continues to impact the North Bay but remains light with little to no impact.

The second round of rain is expected for Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Also on Wednesday, southerly and strong winds are expected over coastal waters and in the Monterey/San Benito counties.

NWS said one important change is that Friday into Saturday looks much wetter compared to previous forecasts, with a 15% chance of thunderstorms.
