A California woman was severely beaten last week while pumping gas in what authorities say was a random attack, video showed.
Surveillance footage of the attack showed a Black male between 30 to 35-years-old, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 300 to 350 pounds coming out of his car and approaching the victim, who was Hispanic. The video obtained by Fox News showed the suspect walking towards the victim, and without any provocation, punched her.
The suspect repeatedly punched the woman in the head and face after she fell to the ground. He also grabbed the victim’s hair and slammed her head onto the ground and against her car multiple times.
The suspect calmly walked back to his vehicle as bystanders gathered near the pump. He then drove away.
The woman claimed she had never met the suspect before. She has since received medical treatment and is now recovering at home.
