The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol announced that packages containing illegal drugs were thrown to the other side of the border wall on several occasions.

The illegal drug packages were discovered by U.S. Border Patrol agents who were stationed at the El Centro Sector. Personnel were walking through a residential street along the international boundary al Calexico when they found the merchandise.

U.S. Border Patrol agents opened the packages and found 66 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $6,600. Authorities also found a 158-gram meth ball two nights later with an estimated street value of $3,900.

The officers who found the packages immediately sent the drugs to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Fox23 reported.
