A 4-year-old girl was killed and her parents were left injured after a crash in San Francisco.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, SFPD responded to 4th Street at around 5:15 p.m. after a report of a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrians.

The victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The young girl was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The family were pedestrians and the 4-year-old was in a stroller. SFPD said they were from out of town.

The driver remained at the scene and police believe that drugs and alcohol are not factors in the crash.

Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD at 415-575-4444.
