A dead body was found in the water near Pier 39.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers were dispatched to the pier around 4:56 p.m. and located the body in the water.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
SFPD said there is no evidence of foul play at the moment. The medical examiner will investigate the death.
