Elon Musk Sells SF Mansion For $37.5M

1 min read

Elon Musk, CEO of American electric vehicle company Tesla, on Monday announced he is officially putting his San Francisco mansion on sale.

Musk, 49, had initially held onto his “special place” even after he sold most of his properties. But on Monday, he revealed he would sell the mansion, which he previously rented out for events, for $37.5 million.

“Decided to sell my last remaining house. Just needs to go to a large family who will live there. It’s a special place,” the Tesla CEO said, according to the New York Post

The mansion, located in the south of San Francisco, was initially purchased for $23.4 million in 2017. It has nine bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms on a 16,000-square-foot property. The property also has a custom-made pond outside the home, a pool, an expansive staircase and another living space with French windows and Bay views.

The Hillsborough home also features hiking trails, canyons and an updated professional kitchen adjacent to a banquet dining room.
