1 min read

Angus Cloud, an actor best known for his role in the HBO series “Euphoria,” was found dead at his family’s home in Oakland.

Cloud recently lost his father.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss,” his family said in a statement. “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone,” his family added.

The Oakland Fire Department was dispatched to Cloud’s family home at around 11:30 a.m. for a medical emergency. When emergency personnel arrived, Cloud was already deceased.

The body was left in the care of the police department and coroner, according to Oakland FD PIO, Michael Hunt.

The cause of death is unknown.
