The Fremont Police Department found several explosive devices at a business in the Industrial Place and Industrial Drive around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the police, officers responded to a report of domestic violence at the business. The case resulted in the suspect being placed under arrest and his registered firearms seized.

The firearms were determined to be kept in several safes within the business.

After obtaining search warrants, officers opened the safes and found multiple explosive devices.

Nearby businesses were immediately evacuated and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was contacted.

No injuries have been reported, and there is no threat to the community. The area is still active with police and the investigation is ongoing, according to FPD.
