Highway 92 in San Mateo Couty closed due to sinkhole

1 min read

As of 3 a.m. Thursday, Highway 92 between Upper Skyline Boulevard and Pilarcitos Creek Road in San Mateo County is indefinitely closed in both directions due to emergency roadwork.

Pacifica Police warned drivers that the closure may increase the number of commuters from Pacifica during Thursday’s rush hours.

Avoid the area if possible and allow for extra commute time.

On Wednesday, the road was closed due to a dip in the roadway possibly becoming a sinkhole. It reopened Wednesday evening before being closed again.
