The SAP Academy for Presales will provide you with world-class training and skills to propel you into a successful career in the technology space as a Solution Advisor. This program is your opportunity to engage with customers, help solve their unique business challenges using cutting edge cloud-based products, solutions and services!

In Solution Advisory, we listen and get to know a customer’s business. We learn what needs to change and why. We help business leaders ideate and think through what is possible. We help them envision how technology and automation could support their winning strategy. We connect their vision and needs to a solution designed with SAP Cloud applications and technologies.

For 2022, the dynamic 12-month program builds a foundation for a successful presales career at SAP. The Associates experience innovative classroom-style learning in a virtual environment delivered by a full-time faculty combined with on-the-job training and mentoring in the field. Together with colleagues from all over the world, you will participate in experiential learning opportunities including presentations, role plays, team competitions, Design Thinking, gamification, social selling and more. A Senior Presales colleague will mentor and support you to achieve success at SAP.

After your successful training, you will be expected to create and deliver high impact and engaging software demonstrations that compel the customers to select SAP over other competitive offerings. You will also provide demand generation support through marketing events and deal execution support by responding to request for proposals. You will lead customer discovery sessions and survey activities to uncover business challenges and opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications and Experience – Does yours line up?

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in one of the following Lines of Business or Industry:

– Accounting; Financial Planning & Analysis
– Procurement; Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain Collaboration
– Supply Chain Planning and or/Logistics
– Human Capital Management with a focus on Payroll & Benefits
– Technology; Integration & Development and/or Database Management
– Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace * Strong Business Acumen including demonstrated knowledge of business process and/or industries named above.

  • Any Industry relevant credentials, i.e., CPA, APICS Certification (preferred for Finance and Supply Chain Management) is strongly considered an advantage
  • Superior presentation and written communication skills


  • Successful completion of a Bachelor or Master’s degree.
  • Requires permanent US work authorization to be considered, there is no visa sponsorship available at this time.
