Juvenile arrested for MUNI bus attack: police

A 17-year-old was arrested in connection to a MUNI bus attack in December. 

According to the San Francisco Police Department, on December 3, police found a 79-year-old woman who said she was kicked by an unknown man on the MUNI bus. 

The San Francisco Juvenile Probation officers identified the suspect as a 17-year-old boy from San Francisco. 

Probation officers told SFPD that the minor was in custody at a local juvenile detention facility in Contra Costa County for a separate matter. 

Investigators found probable cause to arrest the boy. He was transported to SF Juvenile Justice Center on Dec. 29 to be booked on charges of aggravated assault and elder abuse.
