The renowned American doughnut company Krispy Kreme will bring back its annual “Day of the Dozens” event. On December 12, customers can get a dozen of the chain’s beloved Original Glazed Doughnuts for $1.
Krispy Kreme announced the holiday event on their official Twitter account on Tuesday by posting a photo of a box of a dozen glazed doughnuts.
“DAY of the DOZENS is coming! Get an Original Glazed dozen for $1 w/any full-priced dozen! The season’s sweetest Saturday will be 12/12. Participating US & CAN shops 12/12 only. Not valid online. Not used w/other offers. While supplies last,” the tweet read.
How do I get the promo?
Customers could avail of the limited-time “Day of the Dozens” offer by purchasing any dozen doughnuts at the regular price on Saturday. Each customer is limited to two deals.
The offer is valid at participating locations across the United States and Canada. The special will not be available for delivery, online orders, and in Connecticut shops. The “Day of the Dozens” promo is not valid with other offers or coupons.

What doughnuts are available in the 12/12 event?
While the daily selection varies by shop, Krispy Kreme’s “Day of the Dozens” event will include doughnuts from its classic menu as well as its limited-time Holiday Collection. Mini Doughnuts will not be available for the event.
The Holiday Collection features four Christmas-inspired treats:
- Santa Belly is a doughnut filled with Chocolate Kreme, dipped in red icing, and coated with sparkling sugar. To resemble Santa Claus’ belly, each doughnut is decorated with a hand-made belt with a golden buckle.
- Present is a square doughnut dipped in green icing and filled with the company’s famous Sugar Cookie Kreme. Each present comes with icing ribbons and a sugar piece with the word “nice” written on it.
- Festive Tree is a round doughnut filled with red velvet cake batter and dipped in cream cheese icing. Each treat is hand-decorated with a Christmas tree and topped with a star.
- Holiday Sprinkles is Krispy Kreme’s signature chocolate iced with sprinkles that was converted to embody the Christmas spirit.
