1 min read

Sacramento County authorities are searching for a man who has not been found since the vehicle he was allegedly driving went into the Sacramento River near Locke on October 27.

California Highway Patrol said a vehicle went into the river near River Road and Twin Cities Road, just north of Locke.

Officers determined the car was heading southbound on River Road when it steered off the west roadway edge and into the water.

CHP said a man and a woman were found along the river’s edge who claimed they had escaped from the vehicle.

They told police that a 35-year-old man from Antioch had been driving the vehicle.

As of Thursday, the driver has yet to be found.
