Reports of an armed person seen in the Joaquin Miller Park trails have reached the police.

School officials said a 25-minute lockdown was implemented in Montera Middle School. After which, classes resumed and activities continued as scheduled.

“The Montera and Joaquin Miller school teams worked seamlessly to keep our kids and staff safe and secure during this incident. Which is thankfully Over!” said Montera Middle School Assistant Principal Anisa Rasheed.
