One arrested after police find stolen gun, license plate in a San Rafael traffic stop

One person was arrested on Sunday after police discovered the suspect was driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate. 

According to the San Rafael Police Department, the arrest was made at a traffic stop near Third Street. 

The suspect vehicle, a white four-door sedan, was stopped on a felony warrant. Officers also found a stolen pistol in the glove compartment. 

The unidentified driver was booked into jail for felony charges.
