One arrested for SF Centre potential bomb threat

The San Francisco Centre was evacuated after a potential bomb threat. 

At around 12:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to the San Franciso Centre Mall after receiving reports of a person with a suspicious device. 

According to police, building employees evacuated an area of the building. 

At the scene, officers detained an individual matching the description of the suspect. 

The suspicious device was located and learned to be a lighter. 

After searching the mall, officers announced the public area safe.
