One dead in Dublin house fire

One person is dead after a residential fire in Dublin Monday. 

The Dublin Police Department and Alameda County Fire Department responded to a house fire near Mayan Court and Canterbury Lane on Monday evening. 

According to the City of Dublin, the house was “fully engulfed in flames.”

Four adults and four children were displaced as a result of the fire. A dog was also taken to a veterinary hospital. 

The fire department has prevented the spread of the fire. 

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
