The man accused of attacking Paul Pelosi in the San Francisco he shares with his wife will be charged on Monday.

According to the DA’s Office, David DePape is expected to be charged on Monday for attacking the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and he will face an arraignment on Tuesday.

DePape was taken into custody after the police found him violently attacking Paul. The police said he was yelling “Where is Nancy?” before beating up Paul with a hammer.

According to inmate records, DePape is currently in the custody of the San Francisco Police Department and is held without bail.

“The suspect is still in the hospital. It’s not appropriate for me to release any of the suspect’s medical information,” SFPD Police Chief Scott said Friday evening. “We intend to book the suspect. He will be booked for felony charges.”
