Pedestrian struck and killed by truck in Santa Rosa

A man was killed after being hit by a truck in Santa Rosa on Wednesday. 

According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the crash occurred on the 500 block of Sebastopol Road shortly after noon. 

Police investigation reveals that a pedestrian was crossing Sebastopol Road when he was hit by a black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. 

The victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital. He was described as a white man estimated to be in his 30s. 

The driver of the truck was a 70-year-old Santa Rosa resident. They remained and cooperated with the police.
