Police investigate fatal Antioch birthday party shooting

A shooting broke out after uninvited guests crashed a birthday party in Northern California. The incident left Nadia Tirado, 18, dead and six others injured. 

According to police, the shooting happened on Sunday during a birthday party for a 19-year-old man in Antioch. Those responsible for the violence immediately fled before officers arrived and no one was arrested. 

Some victims drove to local hospitals after panic kicked in and party attendees dispersed in the neighborhood. 

Police note that they received multiple 911 calls about the shooting shortly before 1 a.m. 

Tirado was taken to the hospital, where she died. 

Police have yet to determine a motive for the shooting.
