Police search for 2 women after bank robberies in Santa Rosa

Authorities are asking for public help in the search for two female suspects who allegedly robbed two banks this week. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the first robbery happened on Tuesday afternoon at a Wells Fargo Bank and the second was at a Chase Bank on Wednesday afternoon. 

The first bank robbery was at the Well Fargo Bank at 2759 Fourth Street at around 3:10 p.m. After demanding money from the bank teller, the suspect ran away westbound across Rogers Way to La Paloma Avenue. 

She was described as an Asian or light-skinned Black woman in her late 20s to 30s, around 5-foot-7, and with a  “heavy-set build and possible deadlock-style hair.”

She was last seen wearing blue Jordan brand sweatpants, a blue Old Navy sweatshirt, a grey baseball cap, and carrying a blue Adidas backpack. 

The second bank robbery happened at 4:02 p.m. at the Chase Bank at 1301 Guerneville Road. The suspect fled on a bicycle northbound on Range Avenue to westbound West Steele Lane. 

She is described to be a light-skinned Black woman, around 30-40 years old and 5-foot-7 tall. 

Neither suspect has been identified by name. The Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500. It will be given to whoever has “information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible.”
