Possible Shooting With BB Gun in Whole Foods Parking Lot

San Francisco police officers responded to reports of a potential shooting in a Whole Foods parking lot on Friday, January 29, at around 6:57 p.m.

The caller, 28-year-old Sara Bartell, told officers that while she was walking along the parking lot, she heard multiple “pop” sounds. She later realized that she was struck on her forehead above her right eye by something small.

A witness said that the sounds were possibly from an airsoft pellet gun. Cavin Kindsvogel, the victim’s boyfriend, shared photographs of to raise awareness regarding the incident. “I want to get awareness out how dangerous this can be, so it doesn’t happen again,” he said.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and are looking for a potential suspect, and anyone with information regarding the case was encouraged to reach out to the San Francisco Police Department, KRON4 reported.
