Tencent announced another milestone for its famous mobile game, PUBG. The game has reached another milestone by garnering 1 billion total downloads worldwide. Although the number doesn’t include Mainland China, it is still a breakthrough worth noting.

For the longest of time, PUBG Mobile has been considered as one of the most popular mobile games in the world. In 2019, it was announced as the highest-grossing mobile game.

Along with the announcement of this milestone, Tencent also reports their partnership with Godzilla vs. Kong. Players will be able to take part in an in-game event with the movie, including a game mode and themed content. Aside from this, Tencent will also be releasing a class map Karakin open to the players on April 7th.

Updates, maps, and more continue for the mobile game, alongside a new mobile entry in the series, PUBG: New State, which is reported to launch on both Android and iOS later in the year.
