A community crime alert reported rape at Stanford University Friday.
On Friday, October 7, just before 3 p.m., a mandated reporter informed the Stanford Department of Public Safety that they received a report from a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted on campus. The victim said she was working in her office around 12:30 p.m when a man grabbed and dragged her into a basement and raped her.
She victim said she does not want to give a statement to law enforcement at this time.
