What appears to be a road rage incident ended in homicide on Sunday evening in San Lorenzo.
According to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened at the intersection of Hesperian and Lewelling boulevards. The area had been locked down since 4:27 p.m. when the incident occurred.
When deputies arrived, they found a deceased man who had suffered from gunshot wounds.
The suspect fled towards Interstate Highway 880.
