Santa Rosa firefighters respond to homeless encampment fire

The Santa Rosa Fire Department responded to a fire in the homeless encampment shortly before 4 p.m. Monday. 

The fire was near Highway 12, west of Dutton Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, smoke and flames are visible at the homeless encampment. 

At this time, it is unknown if there are injuries.
