Student in custody for stabbing in San Jose middle school

The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating the stabbing that occurred at Sunrise Middle School. According to police, a 15-year-old student sustained a non-life-threatening injury. 

The suspect, also a student, is in police custody. The suspect will be booked into juvenile hall on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

The school announced a meeting on Thursday, at 6 p.m. to discuss the stabbing with the parents.
