Suspect Crashes Into Home In San Francisco Neighborhood

A blue vehicle crashed into a home in the Lower Haight neighborhood after the San Francisco Police Department chased the suspect. 

Authorities cordoned off an area around Fillmore and Waller Streets after a blue Honda compact hit a house in the corner around 3:30 a.m. The crash had badly damaged the home.

Police reports said the pursuit began near Castro and Market Streets before it resulted in the crash. Firefighters had been called to the scene to extract the unnamed suspect from the wreck. He was rushed to the hospital to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries. Two law enforcement officers also received medical attention for injuries, SFGate reported.
