A Holocaust Memorial in Santa Rosa was found vandalized on Friday, and the police are searching for the culprit, KRON4 reported.

The fountain at 1900 Franklin Ave. in Santa Rosa Memorial Park – Cemetery was believed to have been vandalized from 9:15 in the morning to 2:40 in the afternoon on Jan. 7.

According to the police, the memorial had been down and sustained damages.

A similar site had been knocked over and vandalized in 2020, which has not yet been resolved.

It remains unknown whether similar suspects are behind the two vandalism incidents.

Each vandalism case is being investigated, the police said.

Work also continues to determine whether the incidents can be considered as hate crimes.

The crime happened in broad daylight and now the police are looking for any person who has witnessed the incident. Anyone who has information can contact the police department.

A $2,500 reward is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund for any details that will arrest the vandals.
