1 min read

Two people sustained wounds on Saturday following a shooting at an Oakland barbershop.

An Oakland police spokesperson said the police continue to investigate the case and have launched a search for the shooting suspect.

According to Public Information Officer Johnna Watson, reports on the shooting incident were lodged at 5:50 in the afternoon. The officers then responded to the location in the 5200 block of College Avenue.

A couple of wounded victims were seen by the officers upon arriving at the scene. The two were rushed to a local hospital and as of Saturday evening, their conditions were still unknown.

Authorities continued their search for evidence late Saturday evening. They also went through video surveillance footage. They were, however, unable to determine the motive of the crime and the suspect was still not identified, KTVU reported.

The Oakland criminal investigation division’s investigators were already called on the location.
