Two women shot in Mission District

Two women were injured in a shooting that happened in the Mission District Monday evening. 

According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to Mission Station just after 6:30 p.m on Monday after a shooting report. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two women with gunshot wounds.  Aid was performed, and police called emergency medical services to the scene. 

Paramedics arrived, and both victims were transported to the local hospital. One woman has life-threatening injuries, and the other has non-life-threatening injuries. 

The case is an active investigation.
